Surface Energy

What's in this article

The degree of attraction or bond-forming potential exhibited by a surface, which influences how easily a liquid or adhesive can spread or “wet out” on it. Surfaces with high surface energy allow adhesives to spread more readily, facilitating the formation of strong bonds. Conversely, surfaces with low surface energy hinder adhesive adhesion, leading to weaker bonds.
