1. Clean the Surface
Start by cleaning the area where you’ll apply the sticker. Use a mild cleaning solution and ensure the surface is completely clean and dry before moving to the next step.
2. Peel the Backing Liner
Place the sticker face down on a flat surface so the front of the sticker is against a table, wall, or flat surface. Slowly peel the backing liner away, leaving the vinyl attached to the application tape. For an easier peel, pull the liner at a 180-degree angle while applying light pressure to help the vinyl stick to the tape. If any part of the vinyl doesn’t stick to the application tape, press down on the liner firmly to reattach it, then try peeling again.
3. Position the Sticker
Align the sticker on the desired surface. Take your time to ensure it’s positioned exactly how you want it. You can lightly tack the corners of the application tape once you like the placement. Try to avoid any wrinkles in the application tape and tack the corners so the tape is smooth.
4. Apply and Smooth
Starting from the center, press the transfer tape and vinyl firmly onto the surface, smoothing outward toward the edges. If you notice air bubbles, push them gently to the edges. For best results, use a squeegee or a credit card to apply even pressure. It can also be applied by using the edges of your hand. After it has been installed, we recommend using your nails/fingertips to apply more pressure to the areas with vinyl.
- Tip: Our vinyl is pressure-sensitive. After smoothing, go over the sticker again with firm pressure using your fingernails or a squeegee to make sure the adhesive fully bonds to the surface.
5. Remove the Transfer Tape
Slowly peel away the transfer tape, keeping it at a 180-degree angle if needed. The vinyl should remain securely in place on the surface. If any of the vinyl is not adhering to the surface scratch down on the front of the vinyl from the application tape side, and continue peeling the tape away.
Once the transfer tape is removed, check for any bubbles or areas where the vinyl hasn’t fully adhered to the surface. If needed, gently press down with clean hands or use a squeegee to secure it in place. Most of our vinyl has a low initial tack, but the adhesive will strengthen over time as it sets.

That’s it! Your vinyl transfer sticker is now installed and ready to for action.
